On the day before ANZAC Day 2018, The Sir John Monash Centre was officially opened. The purpose-built interpretive and educational centre commemorates Australian servicemen and women who served on the Western Front during the First World War.

The Sir John Monash Centre – Australia Before the War Interactive is presented on a large multi user touch table. The experience allows visitors to investigate a series of digital boxes which communicate interesting and little-known facts relating to Australian society before the first world war.
